Morocco is one of the most exotic and fascinating places I have even been to.

This country is a magnificent combination of culture and landscapes.

The picturesque cities, the mighty Atlas mountains, the lively markets, the endless dunes of the Sahara made my visit an overwhelming one.

During the spring of 2022, a couple of friends joined my wife and I on a 4x4 road trip to Morocco. We started the tour in the city of Casablanca and also visited the famous architectural monuments, palaces, mosques and markets of Fez, Rabat and Meknes.

After a few days of urban and market tours, we headed off to the inside of the land - to the Atlas mountains, the land of the Berbers. We found lovely, simple and welcoming people who were so happy to see us along the way.

The highlight of the trip was of course the Sahara desert, a magnificent, endless and impossible place. To watch and take photos of the sunset, the moonlight and sunrise over the silky smooth sand dunes was nothing less than an out-of-body experience.

We finished the tour in the beautiful city of Marrakech, we celebrated the Ramadan festival and enjoyed the gourmet Moroccan cuisine.
